Ray is on a mission to make tax-phobia a thing of the past.
With over 15 years in the accounting industry and 11 years of post-designation experience, she combines deep technical expertise with a forward-looking mindset shaped by automation, cloud systems, and AI.
A University of Alberta and Queen’s University alumna, Ray helps small and mid-sized businesses modernize their finance functions through cloud-based systems and digital-first processes. Her work spans virtual Controller services, tax planning, private client advisory, and complex cross-border matters.
When the spreadsheets are closed, you’ll find Ray on the tennis court or behind the mic hosting her podcast, where she proves that tax and accounting can actually be funny. As a proud mom to a 6-year-old, she knows the real goal of great technology isn’t just better data—it’s winning back time for the things that matter most.
Dr. Xuehua Yu | FCPA (PRC)

With a distinguished career spanning 50 years, Dr. Yu serves as the foundational expert of our firm. A Fellow CPA with a Doctorate in Business Management, she brings a level of strategic insight that only decades of high-stakes auditing, academic leadership, and government advisory can produce.
Having spent 20 years as a professor and serving as an independent director for public companies, Dr. Yu is currently a counsellor to the Guangdong government. She bridges the gap between complex regulatory landscapes and practical business growth, ensuring our clients have access to world-class mentorship and wisdom.
Dr. Yu is also a dedicated dancer and a passionate gardener. Whether she’s mastering a new choreography or nurturing her flower garden, she applies the same patience and precision to her hobbies as she does to the world of accounting.

Grace brings a "blueprint" mindset to the accounting world. With a Master’s degree in Engineering and a background in technical roles, she transitioned into accounting with a unique advantage: a brain wired for precision, structure, and complex problem-solving.

She specializes in turning messy financial inputs into reliable, well-organized records. Grace’s love for structure extends to her creative life, where she is a passionate clay ceramicist. Whether she is calculating reconciliations or molding a new pottery piece, she enjoys the process of starting with raw materials and refining them into something functional and beautiful.
